As an alternative to our high-end (and high priced) custom "Albums," we offer two economical yet attractive products...either our "proof portfolio" or "hardcover press printed book" to serve as a viable alternate. "Proof Portfolios" are most economical (lower cost binding and cover, but higher end photographic paper) while "Hardcover Press Printed Books" are slightly more expensive (higher quality cover & binding, but lower quality paper).

Our proof portfolios are available as either 8.5" x 11" or 10" x 13" sizes, with 4 or 9 images per page, respectively. Each page is printed on one-side only (i.e., the back of the page is white and looks like a standard photograph print) utilizing professional color Kodak Supra Endura "E-Surface" Lustre paper (this paper's texture is akin to a matte / glossy blend). As pictured below, images are placed on a clean plain black background and spaced evenly in columns (i.e., no artistic placement or custom design is utilized). In terms of binding of the portfolio, the entire book is spiral bound.

NOTE: Since these are designed as "proof" portfolios, the image number will be printed below each picture. This will allow you to easily and rapidly determine which of your images are suitable for enlargement (click on your event's "digital proofing & ordering" page to place an order). Unfortunately, you may not order a proof portfolio and without these image names/numbers.

As an optional feature of our proof portfolio product line, which adds a cleaner appearance enhances the overall protection of the portfolio, a leather slip cover is available. This leather slip cover is black and snugly fits your proof portfolio within (see below). Note: the pages are not bound and permanently affixed to this leather slip cover; instead the slip cover is designed merely to allow the proof portfolio to slide in/out of it.

As an additional option, you may have each page specially coated with a lustre finish which adds not only UV protection to prevent fading and cracking, but also adds a beautiful semi-gloss finish. This lustre coat is lacquer based and protects against fingerprints, dust, and debris (allows you to carefully use a lint-free cloth to wipe the page clean without damage).

** There is no maximum number of pages per order. However, if the number of pages exceeds the amount we can bind in one portfolio (between 50-60 pages), we will split the portfolio in two or more equally sized portfolios (no additional charge).
